Weaving in and Out

I have made pillows with woven ribbon and scrapbook pages using the same technique. While making working on a set of frames for a birthday present I had an idea. Why not weave a frame?

This is just anothe one of the cheap-o frames I've been showing you all week. I covered the front of the frame horizontally with ribbon. attaching to the back of the frame with hot glue. Then I weaved ribbon vertically alternating the ribbons and attaching it to the back with hot glue. I wrapped a piece of the pattern ribbon around the top of the frame and a piece of the solid ribbon around the outside edge of the frame.
