M&M Pancakes

The kiddos wanted pancakes for dinner and while I was mixing the batter I decided to make chocolate chip pancakes. Unfortunately though, I was out of chocolate chips. But while I was looking through the cabinets, I had another idea!

I decided to make M&M pancakes. I put the mix on the griddle like normal and when it started to bubble i added the candy. I let the mix bubble over the top and completely cover the candies so they wouldn't stick to the griddle when I flipped them. It made the whole pancake taste like M&M's and even got a "thank you mom" in between gigantic bites.
