Calla Lily Cake

I'm am addicted to Food Network. My favorite is the cake and cupcake challenges. It is my not so secret longing to be able to create delicious confections that rival the most beautiful works of art.

 I couldn't find the patience to work my way from the begining class to the gum paste flower class. The level one class doesn't start again until August which means it would be October until I could create any botanical beaties. I decided instead to by the level three student kit and teach myself. I got all of my supplies ready and found a tutorial online. I decided to start with calla lillies and this is my first masterpiece.
