I am so lucky that my kids enjoy having craft time. They really look forward to it and get excited when the art supplies come out. I asked my son what he would like to make and he said a deer. Most of the deer projects I have found are Christmas projects containing Rudolph but we won't let that stand in the way of our fun. 
I love pulling out my scrapbook supplies for fun off the page projects. When I was pregnant with each of my kids, as soon as I found out their gender I got busy decorating the letters of their name to display above the crib. I love the mod podge letters because they are so cute and easy to redo when you move from nursery to toddler room and they can be fun for older kids too. This set I was asked to make as a birthday gift and I love the purple and green together.
I have mentioned in a previous post that I'm working on a scrapbook to give as a gift at a friend's baby shower. To motivate myself to getting it done and not wait until the last minute, I have been entering scrapbook challenges. 
Yesterday I shared with you my first layout for a scrapbook challenge. I had so much fun I decided to search for other contests. They are so motivating and I'm having a blast. I found a sketch contest at www.pencillines.com and decided to give it a try. They give you a sketch of a layout and you submit your interpretation.
I have decided to start entering weekly scrapbook challenges. I am hoping this will be the motivation I need to get some serious work done on my albumns. I always get so behind during the summer and then play catch up in the winter. Hopefully I can get inspired and create a ton of awesome pages and have a ton of free time to make projects with my kiddos this winter. Before each of my beautiful children were born I mod podged scrapbook paper onto letters that spelled out their names. I thought they were adorable, fun and absolutely perfect. And then I stumbled upon a blog called Sistersstuff and I became green with envy. They had mod podged onto plaques and added vinyl letters. It was so cute and different and I had to have one. I already had a beautiful set of letters to match my daughter's room and I wasn't about to throw them out but I had a whole knew Idea.I am so happy with the way this turned out and I hope you'll give it a try!
